Our Warranty & Guarantee 

StoneGuard® is a 5 mils thick polyethylene film that has an acrylic adhesive basin. On the surface of StoneGuard® is our ShieldX™ Nano construction that has high heat and chemical tolerance to protect the underlying stone, which also provides long-lasting durability to StoneGuard®. 

StoneGuard® has a high-gloss construction that provides any stone surface a natural, enhanced gloss sheen by a minimum of 300%. Lime, orange, and other acidic food items typically stain granite, marble, Icestone, Vetrazzo, limestone and other popular stone materials. 

StoneGuard® will provide significant protection from the likes of these food items and other harsh chemicals that may be used in the kitchen.

Manufacturer of StoneGuard® Stone Surface Protection Film and All Stone Shield, LLC, is not responsible for loss or damage, direct, incidental or consequential, other than set forth above, arising from the sale, installation, use or inability to use the film. Furthermore, PRESTIGE FILM TECHNOLOGIES and All Stone Shield, LLC, is not responsible for any damage to the countertop or to any peripheral parts arising from the installation or removal of StoneGuard®. 

Use water and an approved clean microfiber towel to wipe the surface. For more difficult to remove items, use an approved StoneGuard® Surfectant or cleaner. 

Once StoneGuard® is properly fitted and installed to the stone, allow the product to dry for 15 days before wiping the edges. IT IS IMPORTANT THAT THE INSTALLING DEALER HEAT SEAL THE LEADING EDGES OF StoneGuard® to ensure maximum adhesion and proper curing. FOR THE INITIAL 15 DAYS, YOU MAY SEE VISIBLE WATER POCKETS, WHICH WILL DRY AND CURE OUT. DO NOT USE ABRASIVE SPONGES, BRUSHES, OR ANY ABRASIVE COMPOUNDS OR CHEMICALS ON STONEGUARD®.

This limited warranty covers only bubbling and discoloration to the entire sheet of film. The warranty does NOT cover: 

Any defect in the StoneGuard® caused by defective stone installation. 

Natural or man-made stones have variations in color, fissures, and surface marks. These surface variations can be mistaken as stains.

Stains and etch marks on StoneGuard® from highly acidic substances, putty oils, dyes, paint, and other solvent chemicals.

Any damage caused by abuse, misuse, or mishandling.

Scratches, dullness, or loss of gloss due to regular wear and tear.

Any damage caused by external forces such as fires, floods, earthquakes, and other Acts of God.

If the countertop has been moved from original placement.

Any damage occurring due to NOT following care procedures in this warranty provision.

If StoneGuard® is installed outdoor or onto commercial applications.

This limited warranty covers the stone surface covered by StoneGuard® to be free of staining and etching from food items and beverages for 15 years. The warranty does NOT cover:

Any defect in the StoneGuard® caused by defective stone or installation.

Pre-existing stains on the stone prior to StoneGuard® application. 

Natural or man-made stones have variations in color, fissures. and surface marks. These surface variations can be mistaken as stains.

Stains and etch marks on StoneGuard® from highly acidic substances, putty oils, dyes, paint and other solvent chemicals.

Any damage caused by abuse, misuse or mishandling that created deep scratches, gouges, and surface penetrations that allow chemicals to seep through from these openings.

Scratches, chips, dullness, or loss of gloss due to regular wear and tear or impact.

Any damage caused by external forces such as fires, floods, earthquakes, and other Acts of God.

If the countertop has moved from the original placement. 

If StoneGuard® is installed outdoor or on commercial applications.

Any damage occurring due to not following care procedures in this warranty provision.

StoneGuard® Stone Surface Protection Film, a subsidiary of Prestige Film Technologies, warranties StoneGuard® installed onto interior residential stone countertop surfaces for three years from bubbling and discoloration (discoloration does not include surface stains, but only to the discoloration of the entire sheet). This warranty is non-transferrable.

StoneGuard® warrants your interior residential natural or man-made stone countertops installed with StoneGuard® by an authorized dealer, that the underlying stone will be protected from chemical etching and staining caused by common food and beverages for 15 years. If these common food and beverages seep through the surface of the film and stain the stone protected by StoneGuard®, we will replace the StoneGuard® at no cost to you (excluding labor costs). Common food items and beverages would be: orange juice, wine, soda, coffee, cooking oils, mustard, ketchup, vinegar, and grape juice. This warranty is NOT transferable. 

Ths warranty excludes all damage from installation of StoneGuard®, normal wear and tear (scratches and dings), negligence, or abuse. StoneGuard® is made for countertops, which comes into regular contact with cookware and other kitchen equipment that may create surface scratches over time. StoneGuard® will show wear and tear from this contact and is not covered within the scope of the warranty coverage. RECORD: Please ensure that the instailling film or dealer completes the “Installation Record” below. Save this warranty card and invoice in the event that warranty work is required. 

PRESTIGE FILM TECHNOLOGIES warrants only to MANUFACTURING QUALITY. The installing firm or dealer, an independently owned company, is responsible for the quality of the StoneGuard® installation. The installing firm or dealer is not a PRESTIGE FILM TECHNOLOGIES employee or agent, and shall not have any power of attorney to alter or extend the warranty set forth.
